💰 Mega Funding Rounds of the Week

➡️ Antag Therapeutics, a startup developing peptide-based treatments for obesity and related metabolic disorders.

Raised: $84.3 million Series A round led by Versant Ventures, with Novo Holdings, SR One, Dawn Biopharma, Pictet, Longview Ventures, and the Export & Investment Fund of Denmark also participating.

➡️ Heirloom, a startup specializing in direct air capture technology to accelerate limestone’s natural ability to absorb CO2.

Raised: $150 million Series B round co-led by Future Positive and Lowercarbon Capital, with H&M Group, Japan Airlines, Mitsubishi, Mitsui, MOL Switch, Quantum Innovation Fund, and Siemens Financial Services, with previous investors Ahren Innovation Capital, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Carbon Direct Capital, and MCJ Collective.

➡️ Lumin Digital, a startup providing cloud-based digital banking platforms for credit unions and banks.

Raised: $160+ million round co-led by Light Street Capital, NewView Capital, and Partners Group.

➡️ Maze Therapeutics, a startup developing small-molecule treatments for chronic kidney diseases.

Raised: $115 million Series D round co-led by Frazier Life Sciences and Deep Track Capital, with Logos Capital, Janus Henderson Investors, and previous investors Third Rock Ventures, ARCH Venture Partners, and Matrix Capital Management also participating.

➡️ Vastu Housing, a company providing affordable home loans for self-employed individuals without adequate credit history.

Raised: $100 million round at a $1.28 billion valuation. Prosus was the sole investor.

➡️ Veeam, a company specializing in data backup, recovery, and management across various environments.

Raised: $2 billion through secondary share sales at a $15 billion valuation. The deal was led by TPG, with additional participation from Temasek and Neuberger Berman CapitalSolutions.

➡️ Amp Robotics, a company developing AI-powered robotic systems to automate recycling processes.

Raised: $91 million Series D round led by Congruent Ventures, with Blue Earth Capital, California State Teachers Retirement System, Liberty Mutual Investments, Wellington Management, Range Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Tao Capital Partners, and XN.

➡️ Axiado, a startup developing AI-driven hardware security processors to protect digital infrastructures like servers and 5G networks from cyberattacks.

Raised: $60 million Series C round led by Maverick Silicon, with Samsung Catalyst Fund, Atreides Management, and Crosslink Capital also participating. The company has raised a total of $140 million.

➡️ Cleerly, a startup that develops AI-powered software to detect plaque buildup in heart arteries via medical image analysis.

Raised: $106 million Series C extension round led by Insight Partners, with Battery Ventures also participating.

➡️ Tractian, a startup providing hardware and software tools to help factories monitor machines and prevent breakdowns.

Raised: $120 million Series C round led by Sapphire Ventures, with General Catalyst, Next47, and NGP Capital also participating.

➡️ Nscale, a startup specializing in renewable energy-powered data centers for high-performance AI applications.

Raised: $155 million Series A round led by Sandton Capital Partners, with additional participation from Kestrel, Bluesky Asset Management, and Florence Capital.

➡️ Speak, a startup whose app uses AI to help users practice speaking new languages with instant feedback on pronunciation and conversational skills.

Raised: $78 million Series C round at a $1 billion post-money valuation. Accel led the round, with previous investors OpenAI Startup Fund, Khosla Ventures, and Y Combinator also participating.
